UPDATES ARE FINALLY HAPPENING!

With the winding down of managing Great American Train Shows, I am finally editing the site again. Please bear with me as this takes up huge amounts of time! Microtrains Ice Reefers, Microtrains Tank Cars, Atlas Tank Cars, and Bluford Cabooses are all up to date. Box Cars are horribly NOT and are the next area to focus on. Unfortunately, I have never invested in a POS system, so the website doesn’t tie to any sales activity other than itself, so my apologies for continually falling behind!

UPDATE 12/16/20

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! HAPPY HANUKKAH!! WE HAVE BEEN WORKING DILIGENTLY ON UPDATING THE INVENTORY! SOME DIGITRAX HAS BEEN ADDED. A LOT OF MICROTRAINS HAVE BEEN ADDED WITH MORE EVERYDAY! THE LOCOMOTIVE LIST HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH A LOT OF OLD STOCK REMOVED AND SOME OF THE NEW STOCK ADDED. I AM TRYING…SOME SAY VERY TRYING…TO GET THE WEBSITE TO REFLECT A LOT MORE OF WHAT IS ACTUALLY HERE! ALSO, BE SURE AND CHECK OUT THE SPECIALS PAGE FOR SOME BARGAINS.

November Update

Wow! Where had the time gone?! The NYC sets are due any day now. Hudsons from Bachmann are also imminent. Dylan has left us for the Air Force. GOOD LUCK! Lots of new stuff that has come in that I need to post so keep an eye out! Should have several updates throughout this week.

Norman comes back from College Saturday and once again will be looking for work doing decoder and sound decoder installs. I think he has just about finished the massive stack he was given at Labor Day!!

July 24th Update.

New Announcements!

Bachmann has announced a New York Central Hudson with Sound!!!

JTC Well cars are in. Apparently there are some issues with the etched metal detail parts not staying straight during shipping. I have looked at one, and it wasn’t too bad. Pretty easy to straighten out the parts. I will look at the rest before shipping to ensure they are correct.

Norman goes back to school soon; his summer job installing sound and DCC into locomotives has been very successful and he has enjoyed himself thoroughly!

The Kato Canadian National Passenger set has been released. Still waiting on the sound equipped locomotives, but everything else is available for ordering.

We are happy to announce that we are once again an approved Digitrax Dealer!

June 26th Update

Atlas Code 55 turnouts-some-are back in stock. More N Scale Architect has been added. Hope to have some more of the buildings we bought a year ago added. Also, new Kato Japanese products keep arriving. Check back for updates!

All of us here want to wish everyone a Safe and Happy 4th!

Neal, Erika, Norman, and Dylan

JUNE 1 ANNOUNCEMENTS AND OTHER STUFF

NORMAN CONTINUES TO LEARN DECODER AND SOUND INSTALLS WITH SOME REALLY FANTASTIC JOBS BEING SHIPPED TO HAPPY CUSTOMERS! CONSEQUENT TO THIS WE ARE ONCE AGAIN AN ACTIVE DEALER FOR SOUNDTRAXX AND ANTICIPATE ADDING ESU BACK IN ONCE THEY RESUME OPERATIONS…ANY DAY I HOPE.

LIfe Goes On....

Norman is home for the Summer! His Summer Gig fell through due to Coronavirus. He is now doing DCC installs like crazy. Many locomotives I never expected to see with DCC in my collection are now ready for the layout! Please call or email us if you have DCC needs. He is also does sound installs.

Broadway have another run of the Mikado on its way to the US even as we write this. Check out all the new exciting roadnames! Even though they have raised the price , we haven’t!! I have learned a lot about this particular model, and am now much more confident about its running qualities than I was initially. They just need to be babied when they are being broken in.

Kato’s Canadian National Train is due the end of this month (May) also! And they just announced the NYC 20th Century!!! YAY! I have been waiting for this train for a loooooooong time.

Developing more room

Added another pegboard today. Anyone who remembers the stores in NH will remember the sliding pegboards. Hopefully by next week we will have added that feature and will once again have room for lots of small stuff!

Calling this the Great Wall of China……..manufactured containers! More to be added as I have two other sets of releases in the van. I will update this picture accordingly.

And still more

Sleeper service from London to Aberdeen was a great way to go! Still the old equipment but comfortable non the less. Arrived at Euston to find class 86 001 Sir William Stanier at the buffers having acted as pilot (presumably) to bring in the empty stock. I know I've ridden behind this locomotive before…somewhere way back! This locomotive class was originally in 1965 for service on the newly (then) opened electrified section of the west coast mainline.

On the front of the 15 car long train was a class 91 electric. These were built during the 1980's for the East Coast Mainline electrification.

The lounge car was comfortable and rapidly filled up with other US tourists! Drink selection was excellent. Food, however, was limited to a few cold sandwiches. Disappointing, to say the least. Not sure if there was supposed to be a hot food option. Either equipment failure or the beginnings of a work to rule industrial action may be wnt the equipment was missing. Hopefully the issues with the introduction of new equipment will be resolved soon and this venerable train will receive a much needed upgrade.
